anyway to improve the gauges with the led bulbs

*besides doing that whole circuit bulb setup*. i knew it wasnt gonna look even and perfect but this doesnt look at all like anyone elses that have done the same (meaning only replacing the three 194s). did i buy the wrong led bulb? i bought the WLED-x6 from superbrightleds

you need the LED's with a 90 or 120 degree viewing angle....

Ive used those single led, wide angle, and got poorer results than the 1flat led/4-5 leds surrounding it. I'd rather stick with my normal incandescents.

yeah i've heard mixed reviews, just from what i've read so far, the 90 - 120 degree angles are better...however it seems like everyone has different experiences with these bulbs.

did you notice some spots on your gauges brighter than others?

yea see the pic off that link has a nice glow to it. mine doesnt even look like it's led lol. ill see if i can exchange them.

I had hot-spots on mine directly above the bulbs when I used them.
