arp extended studs and buddy club lug issue

I'm having an issue threading them all the way on. it seems anyone with this combo has the same problem and they say to "chase" the lugs what exactly does this mean and I know for a fact they both are the right thread pattern. Anyone else here have this issue? They thread on nicely for a little then all of a sudden it gets very hard and you have to use force to put them on. so what exactly should I do?

tighten a little bit, back it off, tighten a bit, back it off, etc... just make sure you dont crossthread.

What kind of anti seize should I use just normal bolt anti seize? And wouldn't slowly forcing it on cause cross threading? I'll try both of these methods and see though.
