auto or manual cv axles??

i need to get new cv axles and i have a manual. do i need to get manual cv axles? because i was looking at some and it said they work for auto trans and manual.. so i was seeing if theirs a difference between the two..

I believe that the cv axle for the auto and manual for the 94 ls are interchangeable. I have both of them and they seem to be exactly a like. However if you are going to purchase it. I would stay manual for manual and auto for auto. Just to be absolutely sure as mentioned by the previous responder.

Yeah, they shouldn't differ, but it's always best to play it safe.

Make sure you specify if it has Anti lock brakes or not...that DOES matter.

on a non abs integra, you can use abs axles. i have used em with no problems.

the only difference should be abs and non abs. i use abs axles on non abs hubs

Auto and Manual is all the same. the only different is the Type R axles that goes into the hub.

I'm running ITR axles on my automatic but I have JDM ITR 5 lug conversion.

if you use non abs axles on a car with abs, your abs light will be on and you will no longer have it.

The ABS has reluctor ring on the outer joint and the non ABS does not. That's the only different the axles are the same.
