wut a shitty mornin.. my neighbor rings da door bell at 8 in da mornin n tells us dat we forgot 2 roll up da windows on our denali n it rained.. so being upset.. i walk outside..w/ a towel n dry up da interior (which luckly wasnt TOO bad).. as i walk pass my car i noticed my passenger door was open.. n den i noticed my deck wasn't there and all the wires were showing.. and my tach n air/fuel boost gauge was missing too.. they prolly woulda taken my car if i dint have da Clutch Club lock.. but ya im really pissd cuz i dont have recepit so i know insurance wont get me nothing bak.. :cussing:

Thats so shitty dude. I know how you feel. I mean, as if the wet interiror wasn't enough. I don't understand why people steal from other people. I had my house broken into a couple years back and then my car. Sorry for your loss though dude. But hey, look on the bright side, you can now upgrade. Good luck in getting some cash from the insurance company.

I have done the open window thing in my old car once or twice also. that sucks. Sorry to hear about the break in also. there is always a shot that they will give you a good chunk of change for your player.

ya i just filled tha report, and ya itd b happy if insurance can pay for a new deck.. cuz gotta have music.. but ya hate it when ppl jack carz or parts.. i just wish sumday i just catch em doin it.. forget da cops.. id beat em down.. oh ya and bout da windows..i just forgot 2 roll it up.. da carpet is all wet.. i dried the interior.. its coo now..

you can prolly head to a local stereo shop and slip a guy $10 to write you up a fake reciept for a nice deck... then insurance pays you... and you're happy :mrgreen:

not that i've ever done that.... atleast not that you guys know of :lol:

ya dats a good idea.. im going 2 c if i can do that.. :thumbup:

oh and about the pods.. I was using the tach because my stock 1 cuts off when Vtec kicks in.. and the Boost gauge i was using when i had my supercharger in but now it was just there.. and air/fuel is nice 2 have..

Yeah, beat em if you catch em. That's what me and my friends did one night. We waz at the pool hall and the owner was cool with us and he came in to tell there was closer parking so that way no one would think of jacking our cars. Well, when he came to tell us someone actually broke into my boy's Civic. He took my jacket, with keys, money, credit cards, then he took my boy's radar detector, and tried to steal the stereo but failed.

He threw all the stuff into a getaway car which we caught up to. The kid was dumb enough to get out and talk to us and we got every single thing back. Our other friends cornered the guy who actually broke into the car. We all ran up on him asking if he did and of course he denied it. But the owner of the pool hall saw him running with all the stuff so he was able to ID him.. After he was ID'd, well, lets just say he won't be stealing stuff ever again.

oh man.. dat must have taught em a lesson! but ya your lucky you got al the stuff bak.. cuz it sux when they have your keys n credit card n stuff.. cuz that can screw you up so much.. but ya if i was to ever catch some1 stealin my car.. forget callin the cops.. someone gonna get some serious beating :wak:

You'll have to call the cops and the coroner's office to scrape the lifeless body off the ground. When my car got broken into a couple years back like I said earlier they jacked my backpack, letterman jacket, 120 of CDs, my ECKO sweater. They tried to steal the deck but failed at that. It sucks having your shit broken into. It's like someone has invaded your life, your safety zone. So far its the worst feeling in the world. Except losing a family member or close friend.

yea, security =)... i havent done anyting to my car that i need a aftermarket alarm yet. i was thinking bout adding that later when i finish my audio sys. going all out MTX, MTX Subs, MTX AMPS, FOCAL SPEAKERS, etc..2 way pager, glass mite, shock sensor, all that shit. got a quote at Car Toys, 800 bucks. they got a bunch of other shit with my package but i forgot. surpose to make my car unstealable. (is that even a word?)
