hey im gettin a chipped ecu from a friend of mine and he had it on his B16 its obd1. would i still be able to plug and play or would i have to get it tuned for my engine?

its obd2 but its coming with the harness to convert it

i need some input ASAP please!!!!!! its tuned for 4000 rpm vtech and lauch control at like 3500 rpm shift light and knock sensor/o2 sensor

yeah you can plug and play with the obd1 to obd2 conversion harness and run your car
not sure why you would though, for the 4k vtec and launch control? probably wont run as good as your gsr ecu, but i could be wrong. Your better off getting a new chip burned for it that goes with your set up
if you really want it to run good, a dyno tune is in order
