Broke but no Joke
I drive my 93 civic (with 99 b18b swap) once to twice a week. when driving it bogs down horribly when i get around 2.5k rpms, then surges normally, then bogs again... the engine is fully warm. The only fix i've found (thinking there was water in the tank) is ISO HEET fuel injector cleaner and water remover. after putting this in the car runs normally... till next time (no where near used that tank so the additive should stay active?)
when bogging down it smells like "a go kart" ie burns rich.
What could be the problem?
am i just a victim of tank condensation?
is my fuel pump going bad? (the filter is new as is the tps (if that matters)).
pressure regulator?
some other problem? maybe electrical??
