B18b1 need help identifying this part

Recently when I was doing my transmission the chains hooked into the harness and pulled the plug on this part, can anybody tell me why it is. I've looked in the manuals and couldn't find it. Thanks

It's either the engine coolant temp sensor or the like.

Haven't looked into it. Haven't had to replace it.

yeah. thats the one that goes to your temp gauge..
not sure what the deal is?? plug it back in.

^ what he said. All the b series are the same so if it needs to be replaced, you can find one at the junk yard
