So, i am still getting a checklist together for this next car and am stuck between which to choose from. If i go b20 im doin cams, springs etc, and i/h/e, but c1 probably just i/h/e. Either route really doesnt matter i just figured i get a second opinon.

Depends. Your trade off would be more power(b20vtec) or slightly more reliable because of how well the c1 or original vtec blocks cool themselves off with oil squatters and what not. If you take your time to piece together a solid b20 (non vtec) with a vtec oil pump and cams. Try and get the PR8 head since its the best flowing non v head because of the valve sizes and runner design. I had an LS with crower 404's and I loved it.

Oh no i wouldnt go b20v, i would just have little internal work done and bolt ons vs getting a c1 and bolt ons. Also its for dd and occasional autox.
