b20b valve adjustment

so my valves sound like they need to be adjusted at first i thought it was an exhaust leak so i went and got it checked and no leak was there so i took it to a shop and they said my valves need to be adjusted but since my car has a b20b they didnt know how to do it so does anyone here know how to do it or can tell me how to do it plz thanx in advance

First, find the vavle lash specs for the exhaust lobs and the intake lobs. H-T should have these specs for a easy find.

Then you'll need a filler gauge.

Take off your VC.

You'll need a box end wrench and a flat-head screw driver.

Park the car AND MAKE SURE THE ENGINE IS 10000% COLD.

You'll need a ratchet and spin the engine by hand to 1st cylinder Top Dead Center. Edjust exhuast and intake. Repeat.


The cam gears will shit ^ up. That's 1st cylinder TDC.

Find a DIY bro. Its easy. Goodluck.
