Bad mount cause bad linkage?

So what i thought might had been the clutch, was not the problem. The rear motor mount is going. But im wanting to know if because of that if the shift linkage might possibly be binded? Cause before the mount was going out shifting was fine. Now grinds in some gears and hard to downshift or shift period sometimes

The motor moving around too much could cause problems, the linkage is bolted to the trans on one side and the body on the other. Get the mounts straightened out and go from there.
