Bad thermostat?

first step to diagnosis. when u are driving, do u have heat?
if ur temp is at C and ur heater is blowing cold air, most likely thermostat,
on the other hand, if it is blowing hot air, it shouldnt be the thermostat.
even if a fan relay had problem and the fan contantly blows, ur thermostat will close the coolant passage to prevent cold coolant from coming into the engine.

The heater blows warm air, not to hot.

My car was doing the same thing--Temp hand never went past the C---tooklike 20 mins for heat to get warm. I replaced the thermostat and it heats up in 5 mins now and cooks the hell out of my feet--Temp hadn goes 1/4 of the way up now and heat is HOT--i have to keep it in the middle pretty much
