For portability why not carry a bottle jack. Much smaller than a floor jack.

Cause a bottle jack is sketchy and these cars don't really have many flat places to place them.

Edit: Oh and they are usually too tall to fit under our cars

Harbor freight has floor jacks that weigh in at 30lbs. Now, if you cant tote that around, then you shouldn't be working on your car

That harborfreight floor jack weighs 50+ lbs. Thats not portable and a pain to put in the trunk. 3 tons is an overkill for our cars, unless u plan on lifting a tank.

I've decided to put portability aside for now. Since the 3 ton Harbor Freight is just $3 more, I'd rather just get that instead. A relative has a Toyota Highlander.
