bolts from header to downpipe

So when installing the header and exhaust today my mechanic told me my bolts that connect to the header and down pipe were too short. does anybody know if there is an exact name for the bolts. or even the size of em? i know he said something about 8mm and about 3inches long. but gahh been calling around everywhere asking people but im just making myself dumber trying to explain it.

I got 10mm on mine & 4 inches long..

Yeah ,thats what i did ,you'll spend less then $5 either get the exact bolts from your old ones & go from there..

ya it doesnt really matter.. getting to long of a bolt wont really matter (within reason). If your welded on nuts are still attached break them off and get some new nuts. This will work better in the long run.
