bouncing speedometer

got a problem with my speedometer. ill be driving the spedometer will be working fine but then it will start bouncing and then it will fall to zero . this happens sometime. and it sometimes happens when im just driving for a while

Vehicle Speed Sensor malfunction.

Probably the wire on the speed sensor came loose. Its a plug on the transmission.
