burning oil?

So I did a oil change less than two months ago like 1k miles and my oil is gone? I use royal purple 10w30 ? I don't see any smoke from the exausht so what do I do? Switch oil?

hmm i was having the same problem when i first got my teg. i was actually burning it, but didnt realize becuase i had a stock exhaust. as soon as i got my apexi (because it stuck out farther than the stock muffler) i noticed the whole rear of my car was getting dirty quicker than normal haha i soon realized all that "dirt" was actually oil :/

do you have the stock exhaust? are you sure your not leaking from anywhere? like the oil pan or somewhere?

Check for blue smoke under acceleration from the exhaust. Get a compression and leakdown test.

yup do that as well, have a buddy drive behind you and smash on it a few times, then youll know fersure if your burning it or not

Ill do that tonight , I'm thinking this oil is too thin to I picked up 10w40

piston rings for sure do leak down test.......

So I smashed on it today infront of a friend and he said there was no smoke , the car runs fine though would that matter when it comes to piston rings?

Nevermind I thought you guys ment the actual pistons, what kind of rings should I get?
