haha that must really suck!!! those cars arent supposed to be touched by kids... cuz its not tamed and it bites. therefore thats what caused this result.

The 2007 Shelby GT500 only is available in a six-speed manual transmission.

I imagine he was probably trying to rev it, but didn't know how to out of inexperience with driving cars at all. The father probbaly thougth the kid just wanted to get in the car to sit in it and maybe start it up, not try to drive it or rev it. Looks like an accident to me.
