Hello every1!
So my cousin was tellin me theres a way 2 make my DA9 a lil faster with changing just 1 cam on my ls B18A1 to a type R cam but just 1 of em he didnt remember which 1 it was but i wanted 2 c if any 1 knew that answer n if it was ok on tha motor which has only 156000 miles. My 3rd question was what tools do i need 2 adjust my valves cause i hear 1 knockin when my car idles!

well being that a type r cam is a vtec cam im pretty sure thats not true. and to adjust your valves you need feeler gauges and a socket set. but just so you know if its knocking its not a valve......
 
You can't put a Type R cam in a non vtec head.
As Dago said, there is a big difference in a "knocking" and a "tapping"...

yea knocking would not be a valve.....that would be more of a tapping sound like a few people have mentioned

its its a knock i can promise its not a valve. And yes, i said way up there, the cam will not work seeing as its a vtec cam and you have non vtec. If your engine has a slight knock you could be about tho throw a rod or bearings could be going out. Id have that checked asap.
