Can my original paint be fix? Outer coat is coming off. PICs INSIDE

I bought the car and it seem like the outer coating is coming off more and more, especially after wash.

I really like the color and dont want to paint the whole car when only some parts is damage.

Has anyone repair this before like for example re polish it and re coat it?

Is it just the roof? A body shop might be able to repaint the roof if the rest of the car's paint is in good shape.

It's clear coat failure. It cannot be saved. Best to repaint just that panel. Polish and wax the rest of the car to protect it's finish.
