clearly you have thought of everything.

That i can fix myself yes.. Internally i dont have the time.. Its my DD. And before i hand it over to a mechanic who tries to rape my pockets for something that doesnt need to be fixed.. Id like to narrow my options.

Before I replaced my fuel injectors, my car would move quicker ('launch forward') after 5k rpms, and felt very slow below that. I also smelt fuel fumes in the cabin. I had a P1399 Check engine light. Mechanic said it was the result of one of the fuel cylinders misfiring.

Haven't had the CEL comeback after 900 mi.

Defective PCV valves can contribute to oil burning.
