car alarm installation help?

so i just got my package in the mail, a car alarm full system. was planning on paying to have it installed, but had to spend that money on a repair. anyone here know how to install one of these? i am an amateur with wiring. only wired up stereo systems no alarms. car already has an alarm that does not work installed. any tips would be nice

if its a 2 way pager alarm with remote start then i would suggest taking it to a pro.

if its a basic alarm or even a 2 way pager its much easier and something that could be done by yourself.

its your basic alarm no remote start just keyless entry

i got it to work. what i did is i put the siren from this new alarm system, hooked it up to the current one. and it works! ghetto rigging at its best lol
