Car not moving with a new clutch and transmission!!!

In desperate need of help!!!! Just put a JDM GSR trans on my 99 ls along with a new exedy oe clutch kit, we finished putting everything back together today and when were trying to losen the locking pin on the clutch pedal, it just spins with the nut and we can't adjust it, I don't know if the pedal being at 51/2 when it's supposed to be at 61/2 would cause the clutch to totally not engage at all. When I put the car in gear it does nothing other than rev. Any suggestions would be helpful!

One possibility is you have the clutch disk in backwards between the flywheel and pressure plate.

When you let off the clutch is the slave cylinder retracting fully?

I've heard its imposible to put on a clutch disk backwards cause if you think about it the springs would be rubbing against the flywheel, but if you did put it with the springs towards the flywheel instead of towards the pressure plate then that would cause it to not engage

Had same problem only mine was the driver cv axle came loose from tranny
