car shuts off

ok well its been like one week that my car struggles to start i thought it was a main relay problem but i replaed it and it still struggling yesterday i was driving on the fwy and it just died like its not getting enough fuel or idk what the problem could be i hope i can get some answers plz :???: and thanx in advance

It may be the Ignition Switch itself, or the Ignition Switch harness (goes from switch to fuse panel) is shorting out.

thats what i was thinking since i left my fuel tank empty once and i drove it for like 2 miles like that

I was having problems with my car starting up. Eventually my car ended up shutting off three times while driving. The third time it was done. Would not start at all. Anyways, it turned out that the ignition switch harness shorted out, hence the dash lights were not turning on.
