Are all catalytic converter all the same lenght? I need to replace mine and i was wondering if I need to go to a muffler shop to get it done or I can just get one and replace it myself. I had an aftermarket one.

you can buy a universal cat and have a shop weld on your flanges and hook that shit up.
Or buy one made for your car with the flanges on it, it'll be perfect length and you can do it yourself.

The one i have already has flanges. Its an aftermarket and I need to replace it cus my car wont pass smog. Cheap aftermarket went bad after like 2yrs. I think it is flowmaster. So all of them are the same length and I could just get any brand?

They're different lengths. Universal just means it can be welded on. If you want a direct fit, you have to find one that fits your model. I'm not sure, but I think the G2s are 17.5"? Somewhere around there.
