it's a GS-R. All i really need is to get the new pulley on to take my car to my boss' shop and do a shortblock swap and just do lsvtec.

That crank is toast. The 89-early 91 Miatas had this problem. After removing the crank pulley for maintenance the key wouldn't engage all the way and cause the crank to break exactly like that. A new crank is the only way to fix that problem without a swap.

Putting a stock b1 block under your c1 head will cause the block internals to rotate 1000 rpm faster at redline than it was designed to. It could last 10 years or it could last 5 months. You might want to beef up the block a bit if you want to do lsvtec.
