Cluster / Dash Light Problem!!!!!!!!

I Noticed When My Glove Department Is Closed, My Cluster Light Works Fine.
But The Lights On My Dash (ac, Heater, Etc.) Dont Light Up At All

And When My Glove Department Is Open, My Cluster Doesn't Light Up
But My Dash Lights Up Extreeeeeeemly Dim, Almost Not At All


Anyone Know What This Could Be?

Battery?
Alternator?
Bad Connection???

Possibly. You'll have to start testing things out. Sounds more like a bad connection then anything though. Next to impossible to tell until you actually get your hands a little dirty. Electrical isn't my forté but I have done my fair share of troubleshooting with it. Good luck though. Let us know the outcome in case someone else has this issue and is looking for a possible resolution.

It seems like you have a short somewhere causing this issue. If you don't have a helms or dmm/dvom, its a good time to invest in both. Diagnosing electrical issue isn't fun and can be very time consuming.

I would recommend checking the related grounds.
