Cluster help

2 of my friends are having the same problem
both have stock clusters but

when one drives and as soon as he hits vtec his rpms jump from 5800 to 7k to 8k to 6k
and bounce

then when my other friend starts his car in the morning his mph needles hits 30 60 80 0 20 30 etc..
but after 4mins it stops and works perfect




what is the reason for this?

what ecus do they have. i know alot of you guys out there run the jdm ecu. that could be your problem alex had that problem. its a jdm ecu with a usdm cluster.try using a usdm cu or jdm cluster

One is using Jun tuned ecu and the other has a ITR ecu

but the one using the type r ecu his mph only jumps when he starts his car up for the first time of the day
and bounce for a good 1-5 mins

the one with the jun ecu his rpms jump when hes racing so when he hits vtec his rpms jump
