Coolant leak

Saw some coolant in the driveway this morning... topped off the radiator and drove to work.

Came back home let the car cool and the radiator hoses are on tight, hose clamps arent wet no problems there. Looked behind the block and on the left side it looks wet. Im thinking either freeze plug, or heater hose?

I was wondering if that sounded right to you guys?

I doubt its one of the freeze plugs. It would be more likely to be the waterpump or the coolant pipe on the back of the block.

You have your radiator hose to the thermostat, thermostat housing gasket, iacv coolant hoses, throttble body coolant hoses, heater core coolant hoses. What i would do is when the engine is nice and warm move each hose left right up and down. If one is leaking it should start to spray when you do this.

Or you could use a coolant pressure tester and find it that way. I think autozone rents them

^^^ he pretty much nailed all the likely culprits for your leak. I've had a heater hose bust on me before, coolant all over.
