cooling fan help please

my cooling fan keeps blowing fuses what could be the problem and has anyone experienced this before?

It could be grounding out somewhere. There is a ground on the tstat housing. Check it I believe the temp sensor is located in that area and contributes to the powering of the rad fan.

you can test the cooling fan itself by getting two wires putting them in the sockets and touching the other ends to the battery. If the fan turns its good if it doesnt then its bad...

It can be the fan. First off does the fan work at all before it blows the fuse?

Look at your connector to the cooling fan (passenger side fan) and unplug it, does it look like it has gotten hot and melted a little? If so then your fan is probably pulling to many amps.

Ive searched for a way to test the fans current draw, but short of buying a fluke meter I haven't found a way



First thing is first, check over the wiring harness for the fan really good
