Cruise control not working...

Help! I'm taking a long trip soon and would love the luxury of cruise control on my 96 Integra. It was working a week ago before I had to mess with the brakes because the brake lights were staying on. I fixed the brake problem by just taping a penny up there until I get a bolt for it. But now my cruise control no longer works and I was hoping someone could tell me what the problem might be??

The temp fix you used is making the unit think that you've tapped the brake pedal to disengage the cruise control. Use the bolt method to fix the brake light problem, just make sure that you get the length of it right.

I don't remember the size, however I do recall that it is a size readily available at Advance and AutoZone in the cheap packs.

Alright well if anybody knows what size bolt to use please let me know! I'm a n00b so I'm in need of help with the small stuff sadly.
