Hey guys I just bought a 96 gsr and it has a untuned p72 ecu with a obd2 to obd1 conversion. When reading up to where vtec should crack the check engine light turns on. Do you guys think it's because the. The ecu is tuned with conversion harness to obd1? Would it be fixed if I remove the jumper harness?

i found out that the ecu was a p28 after all not a p72 so when it would cross over to vtec it would freak out because since it is untuned it is set up for a non vtech ex civic...i just got a p72 ecu now so it should be all good
