ecu question..

ok are they plug and play if they are form the same car. because i read on here some where that you can unplug the ecu for security purposes and plug it back in when ready to drive.. is that true..?

I have a similar thing of security- if i unplug it car can start but plug back in and wallla start right up..

yes, some people remove their ecu to prevent thieves from driving off with their car. car doesn't start without ecu... once you plug it back up it'll start up fine..

ok thats good because since i started my project integra i cant use the money that i have for a good alarm. so i need alternative theft deterant techniques..
