On to Integra number two!
Kosei K4R 15x8 +35 offset

Appointment scheduled for tire change over for next week, so just ordered new valve stems.

What stems are those? I'm looking into some 949Racing alloy ones.
And why 15x8 +35? you gonna run 225/45's?

I can't wait to upgrade the xb's rear sway. I loved how stiff the ass of the teg was.

A 205 is optimized on a 15x8 giving it a slightly stiffer sidewall than if it's on a 15x7. A 225 to get the same effect needs to be on a 9" wheel. Hence why I'm having a little harder time with my current tire vs my old tire.

Aren't you going to need a very small stretch to run a 205 on an 8?
And I've heard 195/205 on 7", 215/225 on 7.5", 225+ on 8". *shrugs*

Actually, I might've been off. a 205 measures approx. 8.07" wide, which is .035" on each side of the wheel.
It'll be a tight fitment f'sure.

It's so much fun getting the rear to rotate around and being in control of it.

Have you tried running a few more PSI, my RE11 like a few more pounds compared to other tires.

x8 is the max for 205, I know guys running 195 on a x7.5.

Very very very slight stretch which stiffens the sidewall a bit more.
Have you thought of running a 17" wheels? I've heard a lot of good things on track purpose builds.

Here's 2 different 15x8's

A 205 street tire isn't necessarily the same as a 205 R comp or 205 slick.

NT01s like to be 32psi hot, I used 36 hot with RA1s they liked to be 38 hot but I could get them to work better with them at 36.

I don't have enough power for 17"s.

Didn't know you went to R-Comps, the RE11 like 39 psi right now, we'll see with the 1.5 inches I added this year.

You have the power, I know someone that tracks 17" RPF1's on a civic with a simple B20 with cams. He runs 15s on technical courses and 17s smoother ones.

Wasted power to move 17s. I barely use all of a 225 at thunderhill or buttonwillow no point in going to a 255. Plus it would cover up a lot of mistakes.
