Engine Break-in regarding valvetrain

So I finally go around to replacing my entire valvetrain (B18c) with Supertech springs/steel retainers and valves and am wondering if it will necessarily need a tune after re-install. Nothing else has change, the head just needs to be reinstalled and a valve adjustment, but shouldn't it operate with the same tune?

My thoughts are that it should operate the same as the original parts, just should be more efficient/strong, so the code in place should still work properly. The cams are also still the OEM gsr cams for now.

Same cams? than no retune.

Just wanted to make sure for safety reason, like I said, didn't think so.
