looking at your cam gear pics... were the allen sprockets tightened before you put them on? Your intake cam gears look all the way advanced. Were your exhaust gears the same way? Maybe your sprockets weren't tightened and your belt kept tugging away until it finally gave out.

I dont think it matters what caused what to stop (though i dont believe something could stop the cam shaft hard enough) but the fact is that the cam gear broke when whatever occurred took place. The weakest part of any system will always be the first to give. Timing belt > skunk2 cam gear. :rolf:
