Engine kicks and stalls

Hey C.I. I have a problem with my engine, when driving and my engine gets around 4,000rpm+ my engine 'kicks' and stalls. The car jerks as if motor is misfiring or something, the cel comes on, and it occasionally stalls. When I turn the car off and on again the cel goes away! I'm thinking it may be my timing, or my ignition? If anyone knows what this could be about I'd really appreciate the help! cheers

Pull the codes for the check engine light. Just because it goes away does not mean the problem isn't there. The ECU has the code stored waiting for you to check it. :thumbs up
