Ok so my car only starts when the engine light turns off and then after it starts the light comes back on. I changed to O2 sensor and then it would not start at all then I put the same one on avian and it started but the light came on avian plz help

i recently found that just by not being lazy pull the car mat back and you will find out with no problems why the check engine light is on

The light could be one of many things. You wont know unless you pull the code and determine what it is.

There is nothing "normal" that makes the light come on. It can be anything. Just because there was a c/e light doesnt mean that the o2 sensor was bad. Thats why you pull the code to find out what the computer is trying tell you is wrong

OBDI and OBDII are On-Board Diagnostics for our vehicles, with OBDII being the newer system in use. They both do the same job, informing us of problems with the vehicle.

I dont understand what you mean by "an obd1 thing."

I meant does the diognostic thing have to be obd1 for it to work cuase my bro had an obd2 reader
