engine problem?

Hey, new to the teg world, but learning quickly. I picked up a 92 GSR VTEC, runs great. ONLY thing is that when I first turn it on it revs to about +2000 RPM, is that normal??

Does it stay at 2000 RPM or does it sink after a while?

it goes back down after a while

That's normal. On a cold start it will idle from 2100k down to 900rpm

If it stays at 2k than that's not normal.
