engine rebuild, leaking oil normal?

i just got a full engine rebuild on my teg gsr and i was wondering if anyone knew alot about seals. Because right now there is a little bit of oil leakage going on and i was wondering if that is normal because my seals hanven't closed up yet since it is brand new....what are some thoughts on this...thanks

seals should NOT be leaking this early. unless they were improperly installed. are you seeing your oil level drop and assume its leaking seals? you will be burning a bit of oil on a fresh rebuild, because the oil rings take some time to seat properly. or is there oil on the ground?

yeah seals should not leak, even if ther new. bad install.
