Engine starts but won't stay running.

As the title states my engine won't stay running. I had a check engine light on for TPS I changed and re-calibrated it. I went to turn it on and it idled fine and the check engine light was off but when i revved it up a little bit it started idling erratic and shut off. When I try to start it back up it starts but won't stay on for long. Does anybody have any advice?

When it does start, does it sound fine or is it sputtering? Does your starter sound strong to indicate a good battery? Could be your fuel pump is on its way out and its not providing a constant feed of fuel to keep the engine running.
