exhaust question

if i run a catback exhaust system up to the axel and then put a ITR axelback will i lose and power from going from 2.50 to the stock ITR diameter? im trying to keep the sleeper look b/c cops are giving people tickets for having load exhaust

small tubing size to big = OK example 2.25" to 2.5"

big tubing size to small = BAD example 2.5" to 2.25"

I went with Tanabe's Medallion Concept G exhaust system and I really like the sound but it's not over powering. But you definitely don't want to go from big to small. it just defeats the purpose of a performance exhaust with a bigger diameter for more air flow when the end is gonna restrict the air flow anywayz
