Exhaust question

So, i'm wanting an exhaust for my '90 GS. i'm thinking about the HKS Hi-Power exhaust, but im not sure if it's too big? the only mod that will be on my car when the exhaust goes on is a RAM Intake. and possible an intake manifold and fuel rail? but, the link is below with the dimensions, and i need some advice.

is the piping too big for a lightly modified car? i'm looking for performance enhancement, along with a great sound.

55mm is definitley not too big, that's 2.16 inches.
But we don't recommend getting an intake manifold unless you plan on building the engine, which apparently you don't. And a fuel rail would only be for looks, you get no power from that.
