one of your hoses could have collaped internally, or you coulda have a block in a line somewhere. Radiator cap might not be opening/closing properly. Your fans could possibly not be turning on. The list can go on and on.

The reason why you cool down when moving is b/c your circulating air through the radiator.

AWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :smackself I checked alot of those things already iam just thinking the radatior is fu*ked b/c the one in my car is old

NO YOU TAKE THAT BACK !!!!!!!!! I gonna sit in my closet and CRY!!!!!!!:puppyeyes
yea, do a compression check. If your loosing coolant, or smell it buring you probably have a bad headgasket. But honestly, i dont think its that.

rockadilla

thats right.
Yeah if u had a blown headgasket u would probably have had probably problems earlier and u would smell the oil and coolent both burning up together lol it smells horrible...
Maybe u need new coolent  or maybe u need a new water pump or have a blown fuse to one of the fans or need a new heater control valve or heater core or something,
feel the top radiator hose, if its not hot then there's an obstruction somewhere and coolent isn't ciculating,
Try turning ur heater in the car on full heat I've heard it helps keep it cooler :what:

Fat guy in a little 'teg
Also you'd probably be misfiring if your headgasket went.

Let's start with the basics.

Do you have enough coolant in the car?
Are all your hoses in good condition/connected?
Are your fans connected/working?
