Fuel Pressure Regulator Questions.

I fixed my idle problem no thanks to the mod who put B20 Swap Bad Idle in the title. After that was put on there I got no further help.

But all aside should disconnecting the fuel pressure regulator boost performance? During my idle issue I had to disconnect the FPR to keep the car from shutting off and the car felt like it was a lot faster. Now that i resolved the idle issue and have the FPR reconnected it seems like it has less power. could there be a lack of fuel pressure in the rail?

You may want to swap it out with an adjustable one, the 255lph Walbro is overkill on a stock regulator.

Im wondering since this car was an LS everything on it is LS stuff including the injectors. Maybe the car runs lean with the FPR hooked up and is closer to what the b20 needs as far as fuel. car runs day and night difference with the fpr disconnected.
