So I just picked up a nice 93 ls and I'm in the middle of a little body work and paint but wanted some info on my motor. It's a b18b2 dohc i guess and I really dont know alot about it besides the fact that its supposed to put out 140hp. I was wondering if anyone had advise on mods on the motor or the car in general thanks.

Unless the previous owner swapped engines, he's got an A1.

Advice for right now though, post some pics so we can see what your starting point is. :thumbs up

Welcome! Start with the basics if you're looking for power: intake, exhaust manifold, exhaust.

if you are wanting to build it start with the engine internals then work your way out

All motor builds for the ls motors are hard.
I suggest doing the basic bolt ons and that will consist of a header intake and exhaust
if you want to go forced induction, super chargers or turbos are your best bet,
other than that pistons cams and valvetrain


however...upgrading the drive train will give you the most fun
