Getting her back on the road

OK. So here's the deal. Ideally I want to sell for 750 to 1k. Uber high miles but no rust (CA car) with about 6k but into the engine 10k ago. Whats wrong? The ignition went bad,. Some time ago some asshole shoved a screwdriver into it and stole my car. The ignition finally gave up. I've already gotten a new car because I thought the problem was a lot bigger but I can't have two cars. I live in the Boston area and nobody has an ignition. Acura wants $315 for it and thats just not worth it. Any ideas?

You can browse online for an ignition and any other parts you need. Sometimes Amazon is good. Otherwise Autozone should have what you're looking for cheap. If you can't install it yourself at least buying the part yourself will save you $50-100 on dealer installation.
