grinding when in park and neutral & accessory power out

Let me start out by saying I have a stock 96 Integra b18b1 and its an automatic. I drove to work this morning (about a 40 minute drive) and everything was fine. When I got off I got in my car and started it, everything was fine and I had accessory power. I decided to stop and check my oil before the commute home so I turned it back off and topped off the oil. When I started it back up I had no accessory power and whenever I shifted to either park or neutral it would make a grinding noise for about 3 seconds that would die down to a low whine but drive was fine. I checked the transmission fluid and it looked good and was full. Since drive was fine I drove home. It was still doing it when I got home, so I started checking fuses. While checking fuses with my tester light the radio randomly came back on. I tried starting it back up and the grinding noise was completely gone. Anybody have any idea what's going on in case it happens again? Thanks in advance.
