So, recently I swapped out the p73 (type r ecu) that the previous owners put in and I put the stock p72 (stock gsr ecu) back into it. The car ran too rich and the vtec engagement was making me lose a lot of power so i opted for the p72. So before when I was running the p73 the only code i got was code 23 (knock sensor).
Strange but my Vtec still engages even after code 23 flashes. The car still seems to perform very well.
So after i swapped in the stock ecu, i still get code 23 (I just need to replace the sensor) I began getting code 54 which is the CKF. I thought it was strange that I got code 54 only after switching ecus. Can somebody help explain? and if I have code 54 would it effect my performance?
Just for more info, I'm running a stock GSR b18c with a rebuilt gsr head with a recent full gasket job and water pump and timing belt.
Also, my mechanic who helped me with my build did a vtec pressure switch bypass. My integra used to give me code 22.
Thanks!
