GSR tb worth it?

well my friend will sell me a throttle body from a gsr motor for 20 bucks...
cuz i think the sensors on my throttle body are messed up it idles up and down when it gets warmed up.

is it a good buy will it be worth it...
next thing ill probably get is a skunk2 many so what should i do?
open to any opinions thanks....

You think your sensors are broke because your engine idles down when warmed up? I though the engine was soppos to lower the idle when it warmed up?

maybe im mistaken but i heard somewhere that they didnt make gsr till 96'

it doesn't just stay down it hunts
goes up and down
i think i found the vac thats loose though but its at the bottom of my intake mani so ill do it next week lol

but the reason why im still probably getting that tb is because he said its bigger millimeters diameter

oil wouldnt do anything and i tried injector cleaner and replaced sparks and wires
could bad valves cause that too?

its probably one of the vaccum lines
im going to get a skunk 2 mani then tb.
so hopefully that solves it

The TPS sensor alone is worth $20. I'd get it from him just to have a spare laying around in case something happens.

well his freind said that my rpms fluctuating might be because of the tps sensor and if its a bigger tb
then my stock on my b20b then i should just put the thing on right?

the first gsr began production in 92, b17a1 engine with vtec.
