I am not the grinch does any get pissed off having to work the holiday with people like this "what are you bringing for christmas to eat? " or we should have a party or lets decorate
my answer I am at work I am bringing my ass to work and then going home I work for a hospital and have worked in healthcare for 20+ years the patients don't want to be away from their families (unless the family put them there) the sick and the dying don't want to see your reindeer hat and jingle bell

paid holidays kick ass, but since christmas falls on a monday, its my day off any way so it works out great

it's called spreading the holiday joy!

would you rather be a patient in a hospital full of people who are ACTING like christmas isn't just around the corner or people showing their holiday spirit and sharing their christmas with you? i personally like to see people get all festive. even if it's just a simple, "happy holidays" or "merry christmas" it brightens up my day everytime i hear it. so :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: to you.

x2. Yep, I'll be working the ER, too. However, the ER I work in gets used as a 24 hour clinic, so there are always those that don't need to be there, there. Oh, well. Job securtiy I guess.

glad my work pays me OT before the holidays and after holidays now thats just awsome! and holiday pay as well!

im scheduled to work the 25th and 26...both are considered holiday pay..which for me would be roughly $40 and hr..at a 12hr shift...so yea great money but NO...they wont let us work!!!! I go back the 30th..great having 9 days off but id still love that extra cash to sink into my car...i want a turbo upgrade!!!!
