Help 5speed swap

Whats up guys i'm doing a 5speed swap. Need some help.
Do you have to cut this out and how? Trying to get this car running by this weekend.

I did they say you have to cut something but dont say what.

Thanks guys I emailed a guy that did it he said you do. So to anyone thats doing this it has to come out.

Is that a guide for the automatic gear selector cable? I would have guessed that would come out, shift linkage will definetly hit that.

I see a G3 seat.

that will definitely be in the way of the linkage. just drill through the spot-welds out and pull it off...
